Hello,
I have webalizer 2.01 installed from
(http://cobalt-aid.sourceforge.net/files/)
and the stats stopped updated on October 4th.
What is the cure? Most things I have seen so far only have solutions for 1.3 ... but I have 2.01 installed.
the logs update every night
(i.e. /home/sites/site1/logs/web.log)
but the html files are not updated at
(i.e. /home/sites/site1/users/stats)
Can anyone help?
thanks
David

We solved the webalizer issue about a month ago....upgraded to awstats!

Hello,
I considered it. But how do I get individual stats for my clients using awstats?
if I can find a way I would switch in a heartbeat ...
thanks
David

Can anyone help on this? I have the same problem. I have read the other posts - I am using v2.01 and my logs don't seem to be empty when webalizer runs (or it would show no usage, right?). Instead, it is just stuck on Oct 16.
However, I did install the cobalt update that moves the logs to antoher partition, and the one the keeps there from being duplicate entries.
I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the (sourceforge) package.
<edit> You know, that's weird. I uninstalled the package, yet I still have the old stats. How does that happen?
Where to next?

now here's a ever simpler solution :)
http://pkg.nl.cobalt.com/packages/raq/3/#webalizer
They got a patch for (i guess ) the notorious oct4 problem.
Any heroes available ?

Hello Dutchie,
The problem I had was I installed webalizer2.01 but somehow I got the webalizer1.3 binarie! Don't ask me how that happened :( So I was affected by the oct 4 problem as well.
so the solution I presented was the cure to that scenario
