well, i'm sure most of u heard about the bandwidth problem at hostiva.com......now i need to find a new host and i was gonna sign with tera-byte.com, but they only accept mastercard, visa, and check or money order. And i ONLY have a Discover :(
well, does any of you know another hosting that is about the same as tera-byte in space and bandwidth for about the same price? if you plzzzz!!!!!! let me know :)

OK... then find/make a friend who is having MasterCard :) Just kidding.

I doubt if you can find any good host, which offers 20 GB bandwidth for less then $10. Note: be careful of unlimited bandwidth hoax.

use paypal, they have a new feature where you get a virtual mastercard for free that you can use anywhere....

Some local stores have them prepaid mastercards that you can use.

Yeah, money orders are good :) , you can get them at gas stations these days.

Did you not try the paypal thing? :eek: I'm pretty sure paypal accepts discover, you could just transfer the amount.

can't you just open a bank account (checking) and ask for a bank card/debit card with a master/visa logo on it? Then you can use is as a "credit" card although it functions as debit card since the money will be drawn from your checking acocunt directly. Or is there any age limitation even with opening a checking account?

This is probably the best route.. it's what I did just for stuff like this. Beware though.. ALWAYS keep at least $20 in the account, because banks charge insane overdraft fees and they'll gladly let people deduct money from the account reguarless of if there's enough in there to cover it. eBay cost me around $70 because they did this :S. Like $4 worth of eBay charges and the rest in ridiculous bank fees.
