Hotlinking is not allowed on any free host whatsoever, and fortunecity and tripod suck ass. (Mention the tripod massacre and the fortunecity debacle to star trek, anime and x-files fans, and you'll know what I'm talking about.) Geocities is the best deal out there as far as small sites go, but their javascript messes up your site. I'm really fed up with them now and want to move. You might also want to really calculate the space you need.
