You can see a longer discussion about this on this thread:

To make a long story short, they will do nothing to make their resellers act like professionals. Then to wrench a domain away they'll make you register WITH THEM for another year, now we can ONLY HOPE they'll let my customer transfer this domain after the 60 day waiting period (since when is there a 60 day hold after RENEWING a domain for transfer? hmm new to me but oh well).

Anyway DO NOT USE itsyourdomain.com because they will hold your domain hostage if you try and move to a new registrar and I just can't stand doing business with buttholes (I want to use stronger language but this is a family forum).

Doing a search on here for "itsyourdomain" results in quite a few complaints on this "company" (and I use the term loosely).

Stay away, stay far away.

I have a reseller account with itsyourdomain. Just because an end client decided to transfer to another registrar, itsyourdomain sends me ignorant replies like "keep in mind that you are transferring OUT of our system, meaning that you no longer wish to pay for and use our services. You should contact whomever you do choose to pay for their services, as we do not have the staff to support unpaid services."

Not a very nice message to someone who still is a reseller for them.

I see the end client still has not gotten transferred so I suspect the 60 day BS you mention, Gary.

Whenever someone says something like "ok, so they've screwed over quite a few people but they haven't screwed me" I always add "yet" to it mentally.

We used them way back when and dropped them because they had poor domain practices. When we were transferring to Enom anything that was close to renewal period they wouldn't approve the transfers on trying to get another year of payment. They started out as a great company to deal with, but then their domain practices just went down hill.
