Did anyone knew about hostlead?
They look as they have the best of everything,but its just weird,anyone hosting with them?...If they are what they say,then I will host with them.

Yeah, I'd like to know about these people myself. It looks pretty good. Nice, clean, profesional looking site, but you never know.

The site looks pretty good and if all they say it's true I will also be with them, it seems great but, I searched for Automatic Hosting Inc. (ahi.net) on WHT and found a thread about Cavendo.com and ahi.net that is scary, anyone has good references from them ? or any opinion about ahi.net... they offer Chilisoft and Oracle hosting from 4.95$ and AHI seems like a good company but...

It does look like a deal - EXCEPT...... there's NO PHONE # and the support site is closed. Scary.

Sounds way too good to be true....:uhh:

I would, at least, wait until their "Support Forum" re-opens, so you can interact with current customers.

If anyone's going to sign up under them, let us all know if they're good or not. Especially with support ;)

I signed up with them yesterday. I should have done more research.

They say the account should be setup within 12 hours. It's been over 24 hours and nothing so far.

I got an e-mail back after ordering that gave my a link to an order status page. That link 404's. I responded back to the sales e-mail asking about the status page problem, no answer so far. I sent an e-mail this morning to the tech support, again no answer so far.

So at this point i'm guessing either their service just really really sucks or I got screwed. We'll see if I ever get an e-mail back.

You know, I don't think that you can judge the quality of a hosting company based on the whois information. Especially the start date.

What could've happened is that they have decided to change their name and therefore recently registered another domain. (Not that I'm defending HostLead or anything), but registering their domain recently does not mean they're a bad host. Although they should have some sort of note on their website with information about their previous name if that is the case :)

Hostlead is a bad host because of poor customer service (that's what I gather in this thread anyway), not because they registered their domain in April.
