My host doesn't have raw log and webanalyzer, my site has just been up for a week but close to 200 views per day already (according to sitemeter counter). I have 5GB of transfer per month, I don't know much about bandwidth, so just wondering will there be a problem passing 5GB limit?

that would be very hard to tell! It all depends on various things ... ask your host to install webalizer for you ... it's an easy thing to do, should not take your host more than 15 minutes to install it.

cheers,

Unless you are serving large files, 200 views per day won't get you anywhere near 5GB.. You'll be lucky if you hit 1GB :)

And yes, you should ask your host to install some sort of traffic analyzing software, or you can buy software to parse your log files, if your host at least gives you that. I'd recommend WebTrends (www.webtrends.com) for doing this, but there are plenty of other options.

My host uses Webalizer, but I prefer to use an external program like http://www.stats4all.com to analyse which pages are being requested and where they come from.

My hosts stats are primarily to see how much data I've transfered. Not that I'm too worried since I get provided with 15 GB of data transfers a month.

I understand, that's about 1.5 million page views? My pages aren't too big, so I guess that's about right
