View Full Version : Bad day at the office
tamba 10-22-2001, 12:44 PM It's been a quiet one today here at TAMBA and I'm feeling uninspired.
Anyone got any great ideas for me to cheer myself up?
Preferably ones that involve making lots of money.
Rewdog 10-22-2001, 12:52 PM Well, it won't make you lots of money, but go give your boss a swift kick in the nads. Will surely liven up your day.
ReflexHost_M 10-22-2001, 01:03 PM >> look at tamba's sig... I believe she is the boss, lol
tamba 10-22-2001, 01:11 PM But I am the boss
And I don't have nads.
Other ideas...
If there are cubicles in the office... and especially if someone who has irritated you works in one of those cubicles... fill it with packaging popcorn and go out to lunch ;)
The following link cheers me up from time to time...

tamba 10-22-2001, 01:35 PM I was actually more hoping for an idea for making a quick buck.
Having said that I just made a few hundred quid, then found out my arch enemy * (*read that as ex-boyf) is no longer working for a competitor of mine - yay! Bouncing off da wall happy!

Preferably ones that involve making lots of money. Are you simply "unispired?"
Or; are you sad and need something to "cheer myself up?"
To me the two are similar. Yet involve different techniques (for me at least) :cartman:

HEY!!
Don't be posting as I'm typing!
:D
For making money, I have a sure fire way to do it.
Find something someone needs and sell it to them :stickout
tamba 10-22-2001, 01:42 PM So me selling hosting, web design, domain names and online promotion means I'm totally on the wrong site here then?
Perhaps I should start looking for a husband here instead! :stickout

Perhaps I should start looking for a husband here instead! I found mine on IRC... larger selection over there :P
tamba 10-22-2001, 01:55 PM :stickout
OK then...
Single white female, aged 24, 5' 4", size 8 (UK size), blonde hair, blue eyes seeks sexy male, late 20's/early 30's, strictly no ties (!), tall, dark hair, muscular/larger build, funny, caring, will treat me with love and not hurt me like others have (ahhhhh!)
(Anyone Scottish here? Love the accent! ;))
Must not own a more successful Internet company than mine! Or if you do, must agree upon marriage to sign aforementioned company over to me and rename it TAMBA 2!
I will have at least 6 babies for the right applicant.
Thanking you.
:D

JustinK 10-22-2001, 03:27 PM You could always go cow flinging. hehe. Why not put misc items that don't belong to you up for auction on ebay? You could probably make a quick buck on the neighbors car...

Dahlia 10-23-2001, 09:25 AM well, i did stalk Dirge and Jhonen with a few friends at the Comic-Con in 98 or 99'... to say the least, Jhonen doesn't trust our little group anymore when we swing by the Slave Labor booth each year, maybe i am a psycho... j/k :D
tamba, i'm feeling uninspired also. i got dumped, found out today that my dental insurance has expired (yeah, i went to the dentist and had the receptionist tell me this infront of everyone.. very embarrasing) and i have soo much work to get done. i am stuck with the job to redesign our 3 sites (given 1.5 months to complete it also.. feh.. the rushing only makes it worse) and figuring out the new vbportal hack has really fried my brain. poopie Monday.. here's to wishing Tuesday will be alot better.... which i doubt, unless my brain becomes PHP-compatible while i take a short nap. :bawling:
what i'm going to do when i wake up, put on some Mozart and pray that i get motivated/inspired again... perhaps Mozart or some other kind of music/art will do the same for you. now... *goes to pass out*
tamba 10-27-2001, 06:59 AM A big thank you.
I didn't receive any marriage proposals but you all put a smile on my face. Thanks. x
