Hello.
Im wondering if anyone has information on a company called Valuablehost located in Australia.
I signed up with them several months ago, and it has been nothing but a nigtmare.
They were down more times than they were up. They changed servers and installed a new control panel, that took them 2 months belive it or not. I have sent them several e mails asking for my full refund but have heard nothing back. Some e mails come back undeliverable.
They have finnaly got their home page up, but half the links dont work.
I have since changed hosts and am very happy with the company im dealing with now.
Does anyone have info on this company. And is there a way of getting my money back from these people. Its only 30 dollars, but 30 dollars is 30 dollars
Thanks in advance
Joe:mad:

Thanks for the info.
I just recieved a e mail from Hostexp.
All it said was that refunds are prossed on the 15 of each month.
That's it. LOL
Not one appology for all the BS and poor service he provided.
I must have sent an e mail regarding this about 4 times over the last 3 weeks.
Good luck Hostexp your going to need it, if thats the costomer service you provide.

Hello JMD,
No thanks needed :)
Glad to hear that your issue has been resolved ;)
I understand how you feel and no hosts are PERFECT especially during the move of the server or change of control panel software etc. as many unknown issues might appear :(
I hope this won't happen to me if I am going to move my customers account to other server in future ;)
Anyway, I am sure you will get your money back soon.
Cheers!

When you do just remember to think 2 steps ahead of what you do, go slowly and get as much feedback from customers as possible. It's not hard (we just did it ourselves actually), as long as all your ducks are in a row first.
Without pointing out Hostexp directly I have to say I've seen a few hosts do this recently and make a right meal of it (a particularly large host recently in fact). Sadly when it goes wrong it tends to do so in a very ugly way.

Yes I agree akashik. Things can go wrong it happens to everyone. That's why I stuck it out with them trough the rough times. Their system was down 80 % of the time I was with them. .
Their mistake was not keeping people informed. I never received a reply back half the time, and when they did it was usually 24 to 35 hours later.
The replies were impersonal. always from the administrator. Customers would like to see a real name every once in a while.
It seemed they just didn't give a damn. Finally I had enough and pointed my domain name to the company im with now. I also set up 2 of my friends with the company I’m with. I was going to send them to valuable host, but not anymore. Companies should realize these things can have a rippling effect.
Anyway. I hope things work out for them.
Regards
Joe
