Hi,
How do i find out what other sites use the same template? (I know others have it because the download count is at 9 for that specific template). Just wondering if there is a way to check who else has it before we get it...

No, there is no way to see who else has purchased the template.

You can ask template monster, and they probably won't tell you.
You can look for a unique image name maybe and search images.google.com

I would stay away from templates. Clients won't be able to tell the difference between you and the next host/service provider

Do a Google search for one of the pre-sliced image names. Most people don't rename the images when they use them, if they even opened the PSD itself. It's funny when you see the actual TM template, unchanged.

What exactly would I search for in google? I tried, but what do I look for? I mean, where would I get the image file name from? TM doesn't have a sliced version for me to look at the image file name ;)

I honestly hate templates, would never use one. They all end up looking the same, you need a look that is unique, to differentiate you from the others. It also prevents the "You stole this persons design" or "This person stole your design" emails :-)

I prefer exclusive templates. There are the most unique templates. Exclusive templates are only sold for one time.

For the kinda cash you will blow on a exclusive template at TM, might as well get a pro guy goin on it

yes try google and do a search like this

flash/0308_main_1.swf

or just 0308_main_1.swf since some people will change the original directory name. Do a search for the swf file instead of image files since most people will change the name of the images anyway, even though most people will also change their swf file names

Exclusive templates at template monster are too expensive. With that kind of price, you also cannot resell the templates. Invest more than $800 for an exclusive template at templatemonster.com, still you cannot resell the templates.
