Hello all!

I'm kind of new to web hosting etc, and was wondering if i could get a few details on what sort of things i would have to do, to set-up a server. I would wish this to be a small server, which runs on windows which can only hold a v.few people on it because they will just be my friends on there. :)

Hope you can help me out :( as i was told that this forum is a good place where web hosting guru's may be able to answer people's questions.

i think it'd be better if you got a linux server
atleast you could do more

True, i have been told that by soo many people. They say that the linux servers are much more easily setup, relaible & secure, but im not too good with linux. Also my ISP dont support linux, well they dont do a distro of there program so that i can setup the net on it, so i thought that it would be alot better to set one up on windows:(
