I'm looking for a registrar that will allow me to register an international domain for $20/yr. or less.
It can be any type, but I would prefer .cc, .nu, .to, .as, .at, .ly, .ag, .de, .jp, .ru, .ro, .be, or .se.

.at will cost you arround 70$ for the first year and 35$ for every year after but you get a paper on which is stated that you own that domain :) than it is worth the amount i guess :)

That's pretty cool, but I guess what I'm looking for is the "international godaddy".

Nevermind. I'm going to try namezero's plus service for $14.95/yr. CCs and *hope* that I am able to transfer the site to my servers and also create some more nameservers.

Grr... plan foiled. Only one $14.95/yr. CC per customer.
a good idea is to go with the specific nic
eg nic.cc for .cc name or website.ws for .ws name or nic.to etc
They have got easy domain managers thru which one can edit name server info instantly. I have one with .ws and I am happy.
I registered another non .com with register but was confused at the dozens of options at their domain manager - may be I prefer to keep stuff simple.
I registered a .ro name but thats a whole different story ( not very long though) and I intend to tell it in a separate post

I endup using enic.cc, speednames.com, and I will probably use nunames.nu/nic.nu in the future.
