Has anyone tried http://www.az-webhost.com/? I plan to get them and would need some feedback about their services.

Thanks!

$1.66 per month for unlimited bandwidth and unlimited disk space? They seem more than a bit dodgy to me...

Edit: from their site: "Intel Pentium III 800 Ghz CPU". Now is it just me, or has an 800 Ghz processor yet to be invented? I seriously think that some 10-year-old runs this "hosting company".

they are resellers that is why they can afford that.

my question is why do some company advertise FREE control panel?

Because they like the FREE word, maybe? There really is no other reason, as you're paying monthly, and as such the control panel is part of the service that you are paying for.

It's like saying FREE car, and the only thing you have to pay for is the setup fee.

Also, here's another clipping from the AZ-WebHost site: "The AZ-WebHost Data Centre facility is worth over $10 Million pounds". Looks like they mixed up $ and £ there. :D

some of the images have been taken directly from the webfusion website.

I'd be afraid that they would run with money. No phone number either. Ha! Check out their meta-tags -- they took it directly from www.eliteSERVERS.net

If they're going to steal it from them, at least take their name out of the tags....

I would definitely agree, it's a 10 year old running it (then again it could be a 30 year old trying to get money from people).

How to ensure that your hosting company won't be around more than a few months and not be able to offer any higher priced packages nor dedicated servers. This is what happens when you don't think. Sad, just sad.

Thanks! I guess I'll have to look for another host with subdomain options. Could you suggest some?

Thanks! :)

Dear god! Just about every host worth their salt offers subdomains. I personaly favour palmversa.com purly because they respond to your problems quickly.

Try posting on the offers board, but id say most people around here (on wht) are quite reputible.

You can post your requests as details as possible such as your budget, monthly data transfer, webspace, features etc. in the Web Hosting Requests Forum.

Remember to allow PM or email in your profile so that hosts can post their offers to you either through PM or email.

Choon

Actually, yesterday I was going to reply to that, though I noticed kyutums already found it and wrote up a thread there...
