We are offering our customers PLUS our server. This is a co-located server, not rented!
We designate the 'no monthly cost until Sept. 2005', but are certain we will extend this.

Basically, you are buying a server with customers for no cost at all with colocation for a small authorization to use an even smaller reseller account.

Simple: we are leaving hosting business and concentrating on our main local business.

So we are selling our server with our hosting customers, and we keep covering monthly colocation costs, in exchange for keeping all our (6) sites in the server.

from what i gather from e-mails..

they are selling this server and customers for 10 000 euros.

Currently it is making 370 euros a month profit...with lots of resources still available.

It is an interesting offer..but out of my league i think.

We have been discussing our established price, and the fact that the server still has a lot to grow but future customers will not come from our effort.

Therefore we have droped the minimum price to 3.000 euro. However we will be accepting any offers until March 1.

I still don't get it, so you sell 6 server + customers for 3000 euro? So what's free until Sep 2005? What do we have to pay first? And 110 monthly fee....?

You get:
Some amount of money (minimum of 3000eur but actual amount determined by biding).
Free hosting for six of your accounts.

And the peace of mind regarding our customers, this is the important part for us! We do not wish to see the image we built with hard work fall on dry ground.

lol very confusing, where are you incorporated? Honestly this seems shady, and really confusing.

Why should this be considered shady? It is just unusual, and we understand that. All because we do not wish to acquire a new server or reseller account, but also do not want to continue in hosting business. And to some, the customers we have are important enough not to leave behind.

Yes, we are selling the customers and all of our hosting business with the server.
As stated, you will buy the server (hardware) and customers, and we cover colocation costs until at least Sept 2005 (this can and probably will be extended if not against buyer wishes - but at least Sept 2005).
