Well, I tried to design something but as usual I'm not happy with it, so I'm going to leave it up to the people who can actually design...

I'm not sure if I need a full design exactly, as the pages are template based (similar to how vBulletin works), but I don't just want a fancy border around the ugly content, nor just a header/footer image.

I had a good example of something 'different' (meaning not the same as every other site) that I wanted but can't find the bleeding URL. I'd like the site to look polished similar to http://www.guistuff.com (though I don't like how it is designed only for 800x600). I'm not entirely sure about flash, but maybe it could work (depends).

I'd prefer:

To look at some things you've done (and other sites on the web) and tell you which ones I like (to get closer to the look I want).

No tag line at the bottom of each page. I have other options for credit for the site, banner or listing (will discuss it later).

Something bright, fresh, hot, and fun.

Barter for services, though willing to consider anything.

Ummm...
