I'm sure these have been asked before...

I have just decided what I need is a reseller account, but I am a bit confused as to how they work.
[list=1]
does the account have a root domain?
if so, is that what the nameservers are?
If that is true, do any domains moved to the reseller have to be signed over to ns1.rootdomain.com ?

Root as in "xiaokao.com/~blah | xiaokao.com/~blah2" ?
Currently with my reseller account, all accounts on the server can be accessed by going "/~name" on ANY domain in that server. I am not sure if that is caused by Red Hat or by cPanel.

I believe that you can have your own name servers

The domains will be moved to the server you assigned it to. I am not quite sure how name servers work, buy usually name servers domains are a seperate domain dedicated for that purpose.

Currently, I'm using Siguro hosting (http://siguro.com/reseller.html), I've been around a couple of hosts, and they seem to satisfy all my needs, and the only downtime was scheduled/announced upgrades

Normally, yes, your main domain.

ns1. and ns2.yourdomain or your host's nameserver depending one which you choose. and what your host provides

If that is true, do any domains moved to the reseller have to be signed over to ns1.rootdomain.com ?
Your customers domain will have to point to some nameservers on the server. Yours or your hosts.
