HOw do you putt audio in Macromedia flash and does it allow all music or just mp3s or something?
![]() | View Full Version : Putting audio files in Flash MX lokodezine 02-22-2004, 11:11 PM HOw do you putt audio in Macromedia flash and does it allow all music or just mp3s or something? 1jetsam 02-23-2004, 12:13 AM i think its only mp3's... basicly...(i'm trying to remeber because i dont' have flash infront of me)...make a new layer and click on the first, then look down at the bar that usualy has the stuff that lets you tween etc... and there should be "sound:" but it will be empty.(rmember where that is) now go to "file", then "import to library" (or whatever its called) and import a mp3 file. Now remember the "sound" place...well go there and you should now be able to select that sound. there you go. mp3sattack 02-24-2004, 12:49 AM Flash allows MP3, WAV, AU, AIF and windows media, you choose import, and then click on the empty keyframe, at the bottom you will see the properties, at the right says sound (you will see it says empty), but click there and you'll see the name of the file you've just imported. Down there you can choose stream (which will cause the flash file to be heavier), or event (the file won't be as heavy but if you want it to be exact with parts of the animation, with this will be a diference of timing).
