View Full Version : Reseller with PayPal
Pepper-Tech 02-22-2004, 01:46 PM I'm looking to find a reseller server that I can host my forums on and resell space. 5 to 10 GB space and 100 to 200GB bandwidth for under $100 US and accepting PayPal payments. I've done some net searching and found lots who offer that package but NONE take PayPal. Any suggestions?
boeki 02-22-2004, 01:51 PM Check out servermatrix. They have a work around for Paypal with the price/requirement that you have.
John D 02-22-2004, 01:56 PM Im SURE that will be very reliable at that price...
Perrer-Tech, a lot of companies will accept paypal if you email their sales department, that is if they dont already have it listed on their website as available.
So if you find a host you like, you could always email their sales and see if they can accept paypal from you, more often than not, they will :)
Hope this helps you
John
Pepper-Tech 02-22-2004, 02:07 PM I found one hosting company with live customer service in a chat and she was very rude at me asking if they accept PayPal. I'll definately check out the one site and I also had hostradius.com/reseller/platinum.php referred to me by a friend on my irc server.
fusionrays 02-22-2004, 02:09 PM Are you looking just for a reseller account? or would you consider a dedicated server also?
[NL]PeterT 02-22-2004, 02:23 PM Bluewho! www.bluewho.com
Fantastic support, great people, great uptime :)
BF-Gary 02-22-2004, 02:23 PM $100 US a month or a year? That wasn't very clear....
John D 02-22-2004, 02:25 PM Ok now that boeki changed his post...I wasnt replying to SM not being reliable, it was a reply to his previous post :D hehe
ServerMatrix isnt too bad but you would have to manage your server yourself, they do offer some level of management but you would still have to do a lot on it yourself.
iWebSpeed 02-22-2004, 02:49 PM servermatrix is the man...thanks for the info, i was looking for the same thing
Pepper-Tech 02-22-2004, 03:18 PM I'm looking for $100 US maximum per year. The one I found on hostradius.com/reseller/platinum.php looks really good and is in my price range.
lwhite 02-22-2004, 03:20 PM You might want to check the offers forums also.

Strange when I went to the site you listed above the price per year is $540. I thought you said $100?
John D 02-22-2004, 03:24 PM US$45 per month
I dont think its within your price range.
I dont think any host would be within your price range if its $100 per year im afraid.
Thats just over $8 for 200gb bandwidth a month
Are you sure you mean year?
Pepper-Tech 02-22-2004, 03:27 PM e-z-hosting.com/reseller.htm Plan 3 $35 per mo or Plan 4 $69 per mo is what I"m looking at. My computer crashed so I"m using my 2nd computer so I had to dig for the info.
BF-Gary 02-22-2004, 03:33 PM On the e-z-hosting.com site it says:
If you wish to pay via Paypal please click here:
There is nothing to click on :|
...edit....
It loads a picture that isn't available sorry about that.

For that price you can get dedicated server from somewhere. I think a host that offers that much bandwidth for so cheap would have to be highly overselling.

35*12= $420/year
69*12= $828/year
I think you have got something wrong in your calculations here
Pepper-Tech 02-22-2004, 03:47 PM I've e-mailed them asking about it so I'll have to wait until tomorrow to check my e-mails, all my passwords are on my other computer and my memory sucks. :P
