If you do a search on this forum, you will see I had made some negative comments about superb.net in the past.

I have just ended my contract with superb after about 1 year of doing colocation. The only reason I left is I have found a better offer for the sites that were hosted on the colo server I had there. I asked superb to ship the server to me, and my concern is how it would be packed and shipped.

I just received it yesterday and they did a great job everything was nice and tight and everything was in good shape. I was amazed at how large my 2u rack server was and how much it weighed since I had not actually seen it after I ordered it.

I would give superb.net two thumbs up, the prices might be a little high but I had no major problems with superb, support was a little slow at times, but I did not need it very often.

Just thought I would mention them since they don't post/have much info on here. Remember there are other hosts besides these.

I am also dissapointed however that the server I paid 4K for a single 733 with 2 9GB SCSI and 1 GB RAM that I purchased about 1 year ago, can now buy a dell 1 ghz server for 1700, oh well not much I can do now, but it will be sent to a new colo provider for hosting here soon. I just wanted to have it so I can clean it up a little and play a little.

We are a colo customer of HopOne/Superb.net since '99 and they are Superb! Although, we are now operating our own noc and will be operating it on a full scale basis soon, We like to maintain our relationship with Superb.net along with these fine companies, namely Burst.NET and Catalog.com.
