This seems very hard to believe that Modernbill doesn't work with Linkpoint anymore, is it true? Has anybody gotten this to work recently? We recently downloaded modernbill and can't get Linkpoint integrated. I tried contacting modernbill, submitted a trouble ticket, had a friend who's been a customer for a while submit a trouble ticket... nothing. Support doesn't seem to work too well, maybe it's not worth continuing down this path. But the software does seem nice.
When we try to charge credit cards, we get an error about lbin:
ERROR: can not locate include/misc/mod_linkpoint/lbin
The manual mentions this is the "Linkpoint binary" and implies that we're supposed to get this from Linkpoint as part of the Select API:

this is very old and linkpoint no longer offers anything like this (if they ever even did). Linkpoing Select API changed names a while ago to just "Linkpoint API". And I've downloaded every single one of the linkpoint api's. None of them contain any kind of binary. Those instructions also imply that a lpphp.php3 file comes with the linkpoing select api. But I've found no such file either... even though that file is unnecessary.
When I try to configure linkpoint basic (as opposed to the API), modernbill tells me: "Set your Order Submission Form URL to:
billing.acceleratebiz.com/Linkpoint.htm". That URL doesn't exist though, I get a 404 error. It still gives me the error looking for "lbin" anyway when I try and charge a cc...
Clearly, modernbill doesn't keep good documentation... but I'd still really like to get this to work somehow. Any help would be very much appreciated.
