You should be able to use any graphics program you're proficient with to make banners. Photoshop, Fireworks, etc...

Before you go out and buy Photoshop.. ect: do note that program (software) is only a tool. Using good software (tools) will not gaurentee you good banners.

Hey ,

I learned photoshop for around one year plus now and its an amazing programme to do all sort of graphic design in such as templates , logos , banners e.t.c , But XiaoKao has a very good point , to master to photoshop it takes time and hard work , I suggest to download a few trials of various softwares and see which ones you get on with best ! Hope this helps ,

A few programmes you can try are : adobe photoshop , Macromedia fireworks and corel photopaint. These are a few well known graphic design programmes !

photoshop tends to have more plugins and tutorials for it then any other of those programs so..... getting photoshop might make it a bit easier to learn how to make good graphics

PhotoShop is the best,
Best thing to do is pay someone to do it for you , it's pretty cheap,...

PM me if you want me to explain....

Photoshop is one of the best for clear, quality images. I also agree that selteco.com/bannershop is nice as well.

Really it depends on what look your going for. I usually like an abstarct 3d look so I use 3d studio max 5 to make a nice background with a good material, and go into adobe photoshop 7.0 and cut out what I need for the banner. Then in Adobe I can go from there.
