Traditionally, we design our sites using Macromedia software, but we would like to begin exploring the us eof Photoshop. I understand how to creat an image, slice it, and then assign a URL to it, but I cannot figure out how to complete the process (so that it links to a particular address).

Any ideas?

i think photoshop cs has this option, but i personally prefer to use imageready for this. it was actually made to do this tuff. if you have photoshop, you have imageready.

goto file, jump to, then select image ready.
when in there you'll want to make an image map. it's basically done the same way as slices are.

(i'd give better details on doing this, but i'm on a computer that doesn't have photoshop on it right now)
