I'm in the market for a new logo and need a company that has a great reputation and has amazing skills.

Can anyone recommend a company that they have dealt with in the past?

Your feedback is welcomed.

Thanks.

Try going to the Offers and Requests area further down the page and having a contest. Offer $?? for the design of a logo and give some specifics then people may start giving you a few options and you can pick one and you are set.

My $.02 Canadian!

Thank you for your feedback and suggestion but in the past I have seen and experienced nothing but con-artist and people who do not live up to their work when posting there.

I have also learned that it's better to get recommendations from other companies about their experiences first.

they have some high quality logos at www.logoyes.com . while one could consider it much like the templates of web design where many people could have the same one, you customize the size, color, rotation, text...just about everything in it. the only thing that comes "stock" is the logo. and they have tons (i personally edited over 10,000 of them) so the chances that another company would get the same one as you is minimal.

www.logoyes.com - way to over priced

zoomshare.com - seems like it has nothing to do with logo design.

People please post companies that you have used before.

the stated price of 149 dollars on logoeyes is hardly overpriced for a good logo.. however i probably woudlnt settle for anything less then a custom made logo if i were shopping for one. I have friends who are graphic designers who have charged thousands for a well constructed logo. But for most people that is a very fair price, and they look pretty good.

logoyes is designed for small businesses who can't afford the expensive, custom-developed logos by brand specialists. If you think $149 is overpriced for a logo, then you have a very distorted view of the worth of a company's brand.

here ya go:

http://danielcronin.com/

he's pretty good. i've had him do my logo (haven't used it yet, still encorporating it into my as of right now non-existant site :-p), and alot of the people at httpme.com can agree to this too. he's not that expensive either (if you think 150 is expensive, then he's more your price range).

all in all, you get alot more than you pay for. i personally think that he could charg 5-10 times what he charges.

I agree, if $149 is too much, download a trial version of Photoshop and try it yourself. You'll soon find it takes time and skill to develop a quality logo. They don't sell them at K-Mart.

www.style3.com - Phil Earley

$150 or so should get you a professionally designed, vector custom logo. This guy here is a graphical genius, with a lot of experience in the website and graphic design industry. You can email him at :

Say that Anthony referred you :)

I don't think $149 is overpriced for a good logo, but I do think it is very overpriced for what is basically a logo template, something that many people will use.

karl, the designer at xerogravity, makes amazing designs. I had him make a few things for me and he does a great job. his site is xerogravity.net but I think version 3 of the site has yet to come out so until then his past work won't be viewable but you can try contacting him at karl@xerogravity.net

No serious designer worth his salt would ever design a logo in a raster-based image programe like Photoshop...

It's vector all the way! :D

You know it figures for such a insulting reply to be posted on WHT. Regardless, I have forgotten about WebRhinoStudios.com which does great work. Better work than anyone posted in this thread and for the price rang I was looking for.

So Mr. MG315, if your day involves getting rapped by people over-charging you for a logo, than enjoy your day. My day consist of quality designers who deliver great results, not pain.
