Hi All:
I am getting the following email message from CRON:
META vacuum - FAIL: ERROR: Can't create lock file. Is another vacuum cleaner running?
If not, you may remove the pg_vlock file in the /home/pgsql/base/cobalt directory
Anyone else gotten this error before? I haven't removed the file yet - thought I would get some input first.

I think it is playing the phone prank on you... "Is your refrigerator running?" Etc.. (ok, bad joke)
Did you try moving that file out of the dir? Seems it wants you to, eh?

I removed the file pg_vlock file in the /home/pgsql/base/cobalt directory and so far nothing has caught fire ;) I'm not sure if it did anything or not though....I save a copy so I can always put it back.
But the cron error messages have stopped, so I guess the cobalt gods are happy!
