I have seem some questions about Ezzi and ISP clubs operation and i am going to tell you what i have found so far. I decided to give them a chance and i ordered 2 servers. It took about 5 days for the servers to be put online which was a bit long but i was not in any hurry. For compensation they upgraded the processors on both servers, without charge and give me a little discount on the montly price for the first month.

When the servers were finally online i started poking around and found that both servers were shortled 256 MB of ram, so i contacted them and they had both servers fixed within minutes.

Then i started snooping around the configuration and found that the servers came with some wierd hard drive partions and since i have plesk running on there and it only utilizes the /usr patition, it made 25 GB of the hard drive useless (40 total) so i contacted them and questioned it and they prompted too the servers offline reformatted, reloaded and got the servers back online with new partions within a couple of hours.

Approaching the 2 week mark, i have noticed one of the servers having network downtime or it would just dissappear for a couple of minutes and i tested it from a couple of different locations around the country to verify this. This is probably related but i would try to SSH into the server and it was like the processor was maxed out because it would do things extremely slow. I was told the server was having packet loss which is why it was probably responding really slow. I contactect them at 9:00 PM or so and they said they would get on it right away. I got an email around 2 AM stating that they indeed did find packet loss and i was under the assumption they would fix it.

8:00 AM roles around and i come to work to find that the server is completely offline. so i try contacting support and was unable until about 9:00 AM in which they said they took the server offline and as of 10:15 it is still offline but i was told they needed 2 hours to fix the problem.

So in conclusion, I have had some problems with one server and zero problems with the other server. their support is pretty fast (except for lastnight and this morning) and they need to work on their setup times and making sure their configurations are properly done.

Right now i dont have anything that bad to say, but i dont know if someone in a time situation would be very happy or if they actually had customers on the servers would have any hair left on their head. They definately have potential and i dont know how long the have been in business because they say for many years, but if so these problems should have been ironed out long ago.

Your welcome, i just wanted to share about the company from my view and i wanted to clarify that i am not dissatisfied, just have had a few hickups with one of the 2 servers which could be more critical for other people than me.

Coincidence and black helicopters...that's all there is. :-)

The moment I opened your post, an email with the final details arrived for a small box we ordered yesterday from them for a dedicated task. Great price, and helpful

The only holdup with our server was me taking too long to send the fax back they sent last night. Once they had that (an hour ago?) they delivered very promptly.

Now I want to go and check it out...but I don't have the time right now. I was most impressed with their helpful staffer on the Liver Help, so hopefully you (and I) wont have any dramas with them.

Cheers

Gary

I have further talked with their representatives and they went over their business model with me and also explain the upgrades that have been going on and also suggested a few ideas to them and they have been very responsive.

The big guys need to be watching this company closely.
