There are so many forums out there now especially because of hosts that provide automatic installs. However, it takes some unique scripts and graphics to spice it up so that it is seperated from the rest, so my question is...
Have you seen a forum that has a unique feature not seen on other forums that you really like? If so what is it and how does it work? Examples would be great, thanks!

WHT is unique. Allows posts every 90 seconds; most others are from 20 to 60.

That is a setting not a feature.

I second this. I find that this really causes users to provide some serious quality posts. They also post the best contributors in each area, which makes people want to help out more.
Hmmmm, /me thinks about that type of thing for WHT.

I am glad you second it, but without a demo as to how it works or explanation I really have no idea what you are talking about ;)

I don't think it has anything to do with having unique scripts or graphics spicing up the forums, It has to do with content, users and the overall mood.

What a confussing site. Is it that a user has a point rating?

Basically when a user posts a question / problem, they assign a certain number of points to it. When someone replies, the initial poster can accept the answer and whatever points they assign to the question get awarded to the accepted answerer (heh, I don't think that's a word)

Ah I see, i have this feature already in another form where the members award points and so does the forum based on where they post and the lenght of their facts.
Any more features?
