Hi,
Our current site has been up for 7 years now, so it's time for something new. We're not expecting huge loads of visitors in future, let's say no more than 10.000 (is that much or just little?) per site.
Our server needs to host 5 websites with connections to some databases (oracle and mainframe). OS is RedHAT 7.1, webserver is Apache.
What kind of a system will we need? I'm not looking for the best of the best, but to a system that just meets my needs.
Our current line is a 256K dedicated line. Is this enough?
What is an acceptable reponsetime for an average page in seconds?
Does anyone know a place (site, document, whatever) were I can find more info and answers on these and sort-a-like questions?
