Does anyone offer automation that is anywhere close to that of Alabanza?

I remember reading somewhere that UltraSpeed was working on something ... anything else?

thanks

Hello thats correct, along with the standard control panel we have coded an auto-setup script to be used in conjunction with the control panel and interface as the order form for 5min setups.

My company has been under pre-development stages for three months planning the roll out of the automation and control panel for Windows 2000. Over the next 6 months we will be testing and programming this into our system. We gave up all hopes of integrating it with our current system and decided to start from scratch.

The process will include modules for resellers, a full-featured Windows 2000 Control Panel for administration of individual website, and automation scripts that will setup websites in less than a minute.

We have spent 3 months research exactly what we wanted and needed and began the process with automation, our programmers will be building the fully automated system and integrating in the Control Pane. We are intially going to use this for internal use only, but future plans will include offering it to resellers and dedicated server clients.

We have reviewed a couple of Windows 2000 control panels and just did not find anything that met our needs so decided to do it ourselves.

Airoz, it seems that many people are interested in this (although maybe not for win2000 but...). When you get this up and running, will you please be sure to post an announcement in our Advertising forum so that everyone knows? Also note that you are free to list your current offerings there as well!

Eventually any vdi based host *should* be able to offer auto billing solutions for its customers. Right now almost everything but billing is automated with a vdi host. They are getting there :D

I will be happy to let everyone know when this is complete, we were at a meeting today regaurding this and we are considering offering this to the general public for usage, without making you bound to our web hosting company. We may even make it open source at some point and GPL the thing, we talked about it and that maybe a possibliity.

If anyone has suggestions on features they would like to see or input on what a truely automated system would be I would be glad to hear it. We are also looking into the automation process of the billing on this.

Our current discussion with other companies have been good, we are also interesting in looking at any other control panels out there for Windows NT/2000 we have looked at http://www.hostingcontroller.com and at that point decided we had to do it ourself.

Our other area of concern is security so if any of you NT/2000 gurus might be intrested in doing an audit when it is complete please let me know.

Billing is part of our development, as stated elsehwere, we aim to have our billing module up and running by 20th nomember, to add to our existing auto setup script, and our soon to be completed move script.
