Hi, I will pay someone to install CURL on one of my servers, unless you can give step by step instructions on how to do so.

Any one want to take this offer?

I'll let this sit in the Cobalt forum for a few days (as you want it on a RaQ), but then will move it to Job Offers...

I could install it for a fee but then I would be ripping you off. Why don't you just download the cURL rpm's and install it. cURL is VERY easy to install. I installed it from the docs. Try doing it yourself first :)

I've tried installing it and it just would not work. I don't really have the time to spend hours to figure out what I am doing wrong when I know it can be install within minutes. Thats why I want someone who knows what they are doing to install it.

I don't mind paying you teck.

Can you email me if you are willing to install it for me.

Thanks

CURL is a program that allows you to create diffrent type of server side access points or behind the senes connections.

On of the nice things you can do is create https and ftp connections using this program.

I wish someone will help me install it. I need it to be install and work with php.

The only difficulty in installing curl on a RaQ4i is determing the proper path to put in the config command for openSSL. I installed it on mine, but can't remember the exact commands now. It requires installing curl, then recompiling php with curl. After installing curl you have to make a copy of the curl libs to a directory that php will look for it in.

I would be happy to help, but it will be next week before I could do it. However there is an email address for teck on the front page of this forum, teck@webhostingtalk.com

I already sent you an email. Luckily cURL was already compiled into php for me so I skipped that step..
