Is there a place online to register a DBA certificate with the state of Minnesota? I know there is a mail option, but can I do it online?

I believe MN have no DBA but they have "Assumed Name" certificates..
Never seen an online option to submit..

I am not sure if your last reply means you are no longer interested or what, but here is some information just in case it might help you.

I believe Joana is correct; it is called a "certificate of assumed name" in Minnesota. Just in case you haven't already found the web site, the form that you need to fill out includes detailed instructions which, I believe, supply the answer to your question. What I mean is, you are required to send in a $25 dollar fee with the certificate and most Minnesota agencies aren't set up to accept credit cards so I believe that would restrict you to mailing in the form. Since I don't see any hint of an internet based payment system mentioned in the directions, it is highly doubtful that is an option. The directions state you also need to call in advance to check on the name, etc.
