I've been seeing Quizno's hamster/gerbil/mice ad a lot lately (the one with the off key singing - or is that screeching).

Now, don't get me wrong.. I loved the blowdarting test subject ads, and even the man suckling on a wolf ad... but I just realized now that from the moment I woke up this morning to now I've had that nasty song playing in the back of my head. :bawling:

I suppose in that instance it's quite a successful ad - though I wonder if a fast food place should really use vermin in their ads. :)

I personally think that the Rat ad is discusting. I highly doubt that I will ever eat at a Quiznos restraunt.

MMM.....Quiznos....ate there today. I know the owner of the one in the town I work in. I help him with his computer problems, and I get free subs. Not a bad trade off. :D

Love the food, hate the ad. it's so damned annoying. I like the old commercials. I especially like their radio spots - "Quizno's UNFAIR Matchup (Team of accountants vs. team of wrestlers), etc". Those crack me up.

Good promo though.

You all missed the entire concept of the video. It was SUPPOSED to be random and odd in order to promote their promotion about bringing in any "random" coupon and it being valid.

Well at least that's what I thought the concept was :o

I liked the commercial. It was funny.

Maybe the whole purpose of the Ad is so that way people talk about the ad?

I think it was a recommendation of someone on Streetwise seeing how SW is Quizno's promoter.

We actually went there the other day and there were 3 people in line that were discussing their hate for the ad. The funny thing is all 3 admitted they came in because of it, they couldn't get the image and song out of their heads. LOL I am happy for the guy at rathergood.

I agree I hate the ad and would even go far enough to say I find it a bit skeevy, but I honestly think that may have been one of the points of the ad and honestly I have though much more about Quiznos since seeing those ugly litle vermins on TV,
