View Full Version : Troubles with Registerfly

Up until two days ago, I haven't been able to log into my account. I've tried password recovery, but it doesn't send it to the email I used. I emailed them twice, no reply within 24 hours (none at all, actually) either time. I sat in their live chat for 30 mins, no reply.

I had $104 in the account and 4-5 domains registered. The one I want back the most is hostpraise.com. I'm currently attempting to transfer them to NameCheap. I managed to get one back, but the rest are taking a while.

I'll try calling in a few minutes. It just seems like my account was hijacked. Thanks for letting me vent. :\

I wonder if regfly would be able to fill us in on the connection with dodora?

Enquiring minds..

Actually our primary backer invested into Dodora(and another registrar) late last year. They have a number of technology investments in this area(and others). So the only connection between Dodora and RegisterFly is one of our investors is also one of their investors, nothing more.

RegisterFly has it's own CEO, CFO , sales and support staff as well as it maintains it's own offices.

I hope this clarifies your question

Anybody ever wonder if people need to spend more time supporting their customers than defending themselves here?

I've had a ticket into Registerfly for days. The first time I got the response "contact support." Duh.

The last response, after three submissions explaining the problem and replying with requested information was "what's your query?" Well, if people would look at the PAGE of information that was given they would know.

Maybe people should spend more time learning the business instead of hanging around here.

Problem resolved thanks to RegFly.

But, I still think the whole deal could have been handled better.

I had never had problems before this issue but never had to deal with support before either. The support people are a little lacking but otherwise the service is good.
