EINUX SHIPS FASTEST AND MOST COST-EFFECTIVE DUAL AMD 1U RACK SERVERS

(Los Angeles, California) Einux, in conjunction with AMD, today launched the fastest 1U rackmount servers available in the industry utilizing AMD's (NYSE: AMD) new Athlon MP 1500+, 1600+ and 1800+ multiprocessing processors for servers, also announced today. The A.Serv Flybird 1U RackServer features two Athlon MP processors, operating at up to 1.533GHz, making it the fastest server on the market today in a 1U (1.75" height) platform. Starting at a price of $1,895, the Flybird 1U is also one of the most cost-effective 1U dual CPU servers available and is an excellent addition to Einux's high density server solutions offering the lowest total cost of ownership (TCO) and total cost of management (TCM) the industry.

We got our hand on one of the first Athlon 1800+ and I would say I am amazed with what this thing can do !

We were even able to play with it and get it overclocked to 1.8 Ghz .. not bad from a 1.53 Ghz chip.

We coupled this with crucial DDR sticks and it screams. I want to post a benchmark comparison for you but I am not in front of the system right now.

Will get back to you later.

I'm a fan of AMD for years, and hi Edwow, do you have a dual Athlon server on your rack, does it performance outstanding, what do you offer for a dedicated one?

Hi Aseanhosting,

We don't currently endorse Dual Athlon MP for now as many people reported having stability or driver problems.

I have used Athlon XP for quite a while now and I can say that I will safely endorse Athlon XP family processors. I believe they can do Dual too, at least on the first few Athlon XP releases. AMD is now pulling Athlon XP from the resellers because of this. XP is indirectly competing with MP now.

anyway, please email me at ed@*******.com to discuss more about this. I regularly check for threads that I have replied on, but I can't promise that I will 100% check on everything. I hope you understand. besides, this thread might get locked because of it.
