Well another board i am a memeber of:)

OK here it I just want the scoop... I have done my research, and found a webhosting company I think I like hence Webexpose.net. they offer Coldfusion, CGI, IP space all that I need. so why am I not sure your comments pls.

I have had many sites hosted with various host (HPH,ADDR, Web2010,M3.net, etc)and just like some other threads I too have the scars to show for it. I am not looking for the greatest host, I just want a decent one with a decent plan
and service. dont get me wrong, they should be good but heah I am willing to give a small company a shot, being I too Consult, and know what small biz can go through.

Webexpose.net seems to have alot of raves, and guest what? I did not see them listed with the top5,10,or the 1000,0000. They seem like a sm/md size company that provide a decent service. I just want to see some sites hosted with them, so if anyone uses this host what do think?

I sent an email this morning and they got back to on a few Q? I had so that is a good start. look things happen and no no matter which host I choose there is no gaurentee <--- did i spell this right? but your comments, and or urls to view would be appreciated.. thanks all for any replies.

Never mind... I have been in email contact again, and decided to sign with them, when ready. Just from the responses I got via email from them My search is over... well hope to come back with kudos one day.

Do a search... I found many topics where they came up (though sometimes recommended by the same person). As for listed in the top5, etc., those lists generally mean absolutely nothing. As for "gaurentee", it is guarantee (close though!)

Chicken Thanks...
I mentioned the top 5,10 in a good way. being that those ratings mean squat now (to me at least):) As mentioned I tried a few, and yes thought heah their in the top oh lets see 5,10,25 they must be good. :(

Oh before I forget thanks for the spell check...

I was also looking for a good, fast and cheap web host..

I narrowed it down to webexpose and tera-byte based on my requirements. Both seem equally good, but at the end I went webexpose(yesterday nite) because they felt more "customizable" without extra charges and also because I was looking for "windows" based host

So far so good.. Well..they have a 30 day money back gurantee anyway :)

What I really like is their control panel. Its a "techie toy" :)

only issue I have with webexpose.net is they are mostly windows 2000. Which means I do not get shell access. Which makes it a little harder to install programs.

Buuut I talked to them a couple of weeks ago and they are adding linux servers, and porting thier control panel over to it. When that happens I think they will be a formidable force. i.e. their prices are very nice and comments of support are encouraging.

they have a premission setting in their control pannel that you can setup premissions on files and directorys. Also they have a tool which you can make ODBC connections to. They are a very good webhost. I have been with them for awhile. They are going to be going to more limited cold fusion support though before of it being a server hog.

Tejan,

Alabanza only does *nix servers, and Webexpose do their own servers, have their own NOC, etc. etc.

Hosting24-7.com is on Alabanza's new servers with PHP4 et. al.
