If it has **** that means its a website that has been BANNED from WHT, and you are not allowed to post it. Read the rules for more info.

I have had the same problem. I suspect it may be the browser you are using, try using Mozilla, IE or opera.

I hate to sound patronising, but how do you know that those sites either are down or just don't exist at all? Try running a traceroute to the sites that you can't connect to, that will explain where the link is breaking. It may also be a problem with the DNS server you're using.
To run a traceroute:
1. Click on the Start icon in the bottom left hand corner of your computer
2. Click Run
3. Type cmd
4. Type tracert websitethatyoucan'tvisithere.com (replacing that with the actual website)
5. Watch the results, if it doesn't even resolve then you know the problem is that either the site's DNS servers are dead or there is a problem with yours. If it successfully connects to the website, then maybe you do have a firewall which is blocking your access. The firewall may be a transparent proxy server running on your ISP's servers though, if that was the case then there's not really much you can do about it.
Paste the traceroute results here so we can examine them. :)

I know they are up, because i asked a couple of other friends to check them out, and they said that they were working.

It looks like possibly an above.net problem? I ran a trace and it got there fine, but didn't use above.net:

what does above.net have to do with me though?

you're being routed through it. It looks like either an above.net router is down or the next hop after above.net is.
