The offer:
$500,000 and the chance to make a difference in the UK domain name business.
The offer is a two year fixed term contract for a total salary of US $500,000 (the equivalent in British pounds, payable in 24 equal monthly installments) plus VERY significant stock options.
The job:
The successful candidate will be reporting to the chairman and will be responsible for all day to day technical aspects of the business and all administrative functions. The main challenge would be to solve the current technical problem (development is currently taken care of by a third-party and will most proberly need to be brought in-house) that the company is facing and to overcome the apparent reluctance of Nominet's (the UK naming authority) attitude towards public domain backordering / drop catching services. Assuming the development issue is solved, the funds are available for a rapid expansion and eventual IPO.

Necessary technical experience to maintain and develop domain name services. Abilities to sustain profitable operations and ability to think out of the box will be essential.
