View Full Version : PayPal UK Now Accepts Visa Electron

Just letting you all know, I think they started it yesterday (to do with PayPal Europ now being UK regulated instead of US regualted I think).

Quite interesting, since Electron isnt supposed to be used online, yet both Nochex and PayPal use it as well my Barclaycard merchant account. According to Visa, the cardholder has to be present at the transaction, in other words basically its only for use in stores etc... :confused:

I must admit, there are a lot of people who look for hosts that accept Electron, and since most only accept PayPal, it was a problem until now hehe.

Just wondering, how did the hosts accept Electron in the past to get around that 'rule' ?

Im pretty sure that Worldpay accept it too...
