for web hosting? Their plans look nice but do they have good uptime and speed? Is there anyone on this board that is using them for reselling webspace to others :?

We only use rackshack.net for our backup services and backup webservers on their RAQ"s. We don't place any customers accounts on it at all however.

Try searching the forums...there is a ton of "Anybody using Rackshack..." threads.

well i did a search but found no one who is using their raq's for hosting. and if than he was not saying anything about speed uptime etc

Well I don't know if you are a techhead :) but 2cpu.com, a tech site dedicated to users who run multiprocessor systems, recently moved to rackshack.

so you can check out their site for speeds and such... could probabbly ask them how they like it, too.

I have a RAQ with Rackshack for a couple of months. I am using it for hosting. I am happy with the speed and uptime...no complaints.

A quick search may also be more beneficial to your search.

I setup an account with Rackshack a few months ago and have gotten great speed and uptime, it has however been an interestting experience getting used to the Cobalt RaQ's after being used to traditional Linux, after getting confortable with the workings of the Cobalt im rather happy all across the board with Rackshack.
