I offer virtual hosting packages and would like to offer domain registration w/ hosting.

I guess I'm looking for something like eNom resellers but don't want to buy pre-credits.

I'd want to be able to log into my domains account and simpley purchase the domain then.

Any help appreciated.

You can just register a domain at any company. You dont have to be a reseller to resell the domains technically. It is the level of control and management you wish to have that matters.

Does eNom offer something like what I am looking for or do they make you buy credits in advance?

If you are paying by credit cards or PayPal the minimum deposit is $100.

Get an enom retail account, you get all the benefits with out the ned to pay up front. Just need to find a decent reseller.

Yes, I think the reseller can access them but so can they access your reselller account if they wanted to, but if you find a reputable one you can get an $8.95 or $8.50 account and you have the peace of mind that they won't fiddle around with your domains
