Has anyone heard of this company? Apparently they provide telecommuting job leads to prospective employees in the tech industry for a fee. They're also known as homecs.com. The other day, out of the blue, I started receiving all these resumes for a tech support position. The problem is that this position was filled back in October, 2003! The other problem is that no one from this company ever contacted me to ask my permission to post this job on their site. So now I have all these poor people writing their cover letters and sending me their resumes for a job that doesn't exist. AND they're paying this company for the privilege to do so. I emailed this company several times and they said they would remove the job listing. Well they have not removed it and I continue to get resumes. I've replied to the resume senders and told them the situation and advised them to demand a refund. In the meantime I have requested numerous times to have this job listing removed and I am being ignored. I emailed and asked for some kind of phone number to speak with a manager and I am ignored. This is really pissing me off and I would love to do something, on behalf of myself and their poor customers. Anyone have any suggestions on how to deal with this? They are based in Canada by the way......ARRRGGGGGGGGHHH!!! I want revenge!!!!!
