What will be the server config? Is it for single or multiple domain?
Where can I see demo of FreeVSD?

Apache/1.3.14 is installed normally ... but if you'd prefer, I can have 1.3.20 installed for you. I should also mention, you'll be getting a complete virtual dedicated solution -- which means you'll have full control over your httpd.conf file.

Using PHP/4.0.5 -- We use the module implementation, because from what I understand, the website will perform better (faster execution, smaller memory footprint).

Using perl 5.005_03 built for i386-linux. You can even install your own CPAN modules!

Using MySql Ver 11.15 Distrib 3.23.38, for pc-linux-gnu (i686)

You get your own POP3 server and Sendmail 8.9.3 server.

You get your own ProFTPD server.

You can SSH/telnet into your account, as well.

You get the freeVSD control panel (screenshot here: http://www.cagedtornado.com/images/cp-screenbig.gif ) to manage users, quotas, email, and the webserver configuration.

You get a dedicated IP address -- You'll also be able to use this IP address to transfer your content over from your existing provider before you switch your DNS information.

You can put as many domains as you'd like on this account (pointing to different areas of your server, if you'd like).

We don't provide a shared SSL cert, but we just partnered with GeoTrust to offer discounted SSL certificates (under $80, last time I checked). GeoTrust just bought EquifaxSecure. You can also use FreeSSL (http://www.freessl.com -- operated by GeoTrust) to get a FreeSSL certificate.

We offer a 30 day no-nonsense money-back guarantee. If we've tried to help you, and you're still not satisfied, we WILL refund your setup fee and your first month's hosting fee.

Let me know if you need more detail!

So we can resell?

What happens when we go over the bandwidth limit?

You are absolutely allowed to resell.

Additional bandwidth is charged @ $3.90 per Gig / month.

We currently don't have any specialized tools for resellers (automation tools for setting up accounts, etc.) Would this be something you folks are interested in? We would offer these free, if we did. What kind of tools (specifically) would help you as a reseller?

Thanks,
Dan

so if you create a user, do they get some kind of control panel?

CagedTornado

Sorry -- you have a control panel as a virtual server owner, but your users don't have any kind of control panel. You can decide what your user's have permission to, though.

How many accounts do you host on each server?

The short answer to the question 'Can I install QMail/Courier IMAP?': It's currently possible, but we're currently not allowing it.

The long answer is:
Not right now, but we plan to offer this in the future. This has to do with a few things, revolving around permissions on the server. We use FreeVSD to provision virtual servers, and because FreeVSD has traded 'complete root access' for 'small efficient memory footprint' this isn't easy. Currently, the virtual servers are provisioned to use sendmail and POP3 email, not Qmail and IMAP.

I (for one) personally prefer IMAP (and although I've never used QMail, I've heard it's easier to use) -- so these are high priorities for us to determine what changes are required to each virtual server to allow these.

Because you wouldn't have true 'root' access on the box, it's impossible to create daemons that would bind to ports 25 and 143 yourself -- we'd need to help you set those up.

In answer to your second question, each virtual server does has its own IP.

Thanks,
Dan

How many accounts do we host on each server?

It depends on the type of accounts provisioned on the servers (you'll see we offer 4 different types of virtual servers, each with their own space and bandwidth quotas).

We will serve a maximum of 10 Vortex accounts (1GB space, 10GB bandwidth) per server.

or

A maximum of 30 Storm accounts (50MB space, 1GB bandwidth) per server.

Make sense? If you need more information, don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks,
Dan
