A client asked me if he could pay by wire transfer. I'm from the netherlands and i don't exactly know what this means. Is this some sort of deposit into my bank account. And if yes does anyone know what this costs and who pays for it(the sender or the receiver).

I tried the search option but didn't get any wiser from it.

It means bank in the money to a bank account from oversea. Also known as Tele Transfer (TT).

It is a fairly easy process, just send him your back account information and they will wire the money directly to your account. If you are not sure what information to give out, call your bank and I am sure they can help you.

You will need to ask your bank about fees for receiving.

Most banks charge the sender, and then the receiving person gets charged a smaller fee.
