Hi all.

I am currently in two minds at the moment. I need to change my host as I need more space and bandwidth (estimated to need 20gigs of space and 200gigs of bandwidth).

I can either go for a reseller account with raine-tech.com or I can go for a managed dedicated server with myacen.com.

Since I have never had any experience of reseller/dedicated in the past what would be best for me? Please understand, I have no ideas how servers/hosting works and would need support and assistance just as I do with virtual hosting.

I am looking at Myacen's Silver Dedicated plan for $109 per month and would just like to know if anyone has had any experience with these guys personally. I have searched through some of the previous messages on WHT but would like honest customer reviews. They seem to have been online for quite a while which is good.

Cheers - Dav:eek:

You are right. Any company that can stay afloat for so long MUST be doing something right. That should help you decide in many ways already. :)

Eh, slap them both and call it good. General reviews on here are good for both companies, and the owners themselves are fairly active here and on WHT IRC (chat). You'd be safe with either one, it ultimately depends on what your needs are.

I have been VERY happy with Myacen. I do not have a dedicated plan, but their customer service and tech support are good and they respond quickly.

Myacen has been in business quite a while, and I have seen practically no negative reviews on them. They have done a great job, and you can't go wrong with them. Anyone who knows me, know I will rarely recommend a competitor, usually I just say nothing. But I will recommend those I know to be reliable and trustworthy hosts. Myacen is definitely one of the ones at the top of my list.

I highly recommend Myacen :)

But I would suggest you to go with semi-dedicated or dedicated for that kind of requirements.

fengshui-123 if you require a review of our services try asking on our forums due to the fact we cater mostly for business's hosting (the Myacen side) very few people who use our services are from Webhostingtalk.

Or start a new thread instead of bumping old ones :)
