Something seems wrong with namecheap.com's website. I own multiple domains and most have nameservers setup in them (ns1/ns2.<domain>.com). However I've tried to add nameservers to a few of them, and they show up on their site, but they don't resolve. The first one which had this problem had the nameservers registered over 1 week ago and they still do not resolve.

Then.. to add insult to injury... I emailed for support (webmaster@namecheap.com) and received this:

Hi,

When registering any new nameservers under the domains I have with you they don't seem to be created. They show up in your system, but after >4 days they still cannot be resolved.

My username is <removed>

I find it very unprofessional when E-mails bounce.

How does that help the thread poster??

I had a look around the site they don't appear to have a support number listed. But this is in the whois... Perhaps give it a try?

Hello,
Our correct support email address is support@namecheap.com or you can reach me directly at rick@namecheap.com. Email us and let us know if you are still having problems. I willl investigate to see why that email address to webmaster bounced.

BTW you can always check to see if your nameservers are registered properly or not by checking them directly at the registry at www.nsiregistry.com . Whatever listed there is correct no matter what it says anywhere else.
