(RTR:BB) The IP address you are using to connect to AOL is a dynamic/554-
(residential) IP address. AOL will not accept future e-mail transactions/554-
from this IP address until your ISP removes this IP address from its list/554- of
dynamic (residential) IP addresses. For additional information,/554 please visit

i dunno bout hotmail but that doesn't work either...hmm

Are you running this machine at your home? From the error you have posted it says that the mail was refused because the ip is a residential ip address. Many mail servers won't accept mail from a residential dynamic ip.

Are you hosting the server at home? If yes, the AOL message says everything.

As for hotmail, check the bulk email folder and see if it ends up there.

Where exactly is my bulk email folder and how do I check it?..Also is there a way to get a static IP address for my computer?...Thankz!

When you log into Hotmail, under the folders, there should be a Bulk Email folder.

You would have to contact your provider about a static IP, but that would not help as AOL can still determine that you are using a IP operated by an ISP serving homes.

I have the same problem. Though I have a T-1 w/ a fe static IPs. I get the problem because of localhost 127.0.0.1

from prettysamy.com (localhost [127.0.0.1] (may be forged)) by prettysamy.com (8.12.8/8.12.8) with ESMTP id i1FFGt1a028359 for <shmups-list@prettysamy.com>; Sun, 15 Feb 2004 08:16:55 -0700

Im sure its cuz of my local sendmail program. Someone suggest it was my FQDN as far as DNS.. But again i have no problems emailing anywhere else... except aohell :/

Anyone know how I can eliminate using (Majordomo) or whatever from using the localhost ?..

Thanks to anyone who can help.
