Rewdog 10-15-2001, 11:53 AM I went to domainwhitepages.com and did a lookup on them as I have never heard of them. They are most probably a reseller of AHI.net You can read more about AHI.net here: http://webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?threadid=21239&highlight=AHI.NET Host321 seems pretty new, domain was registered on August 9th of 2001, so you might not get much response from our posters. Also, I don't like this automated hosting thing. I mean, their tech support won't be a real human being! As a hoster, I know many of our customers rather call up and talk to us rather than see their answer in the FAQ. :D I personally can't see how they can offer 20 gigs of bandwidth for 6 dollars a month. 20 gigs costs my hosting company about 40 bucks a month, so as you can see, it seems too good to be true. In the hosting market, too good to be true is usually just that... My advice to you is to keep on looking. Maybe post your requirements for a host in the Request forum here. Many excellent hosting companies are on WHT, and can give you a fair, good deal. Rewdog 10-15-2001, 11:58 AM LOL, i tried out their automated support thing. Was pretty fun since I was bored. Don't worry! Just visit our contact section to give us an e-mail. Your e-mail will be scanned to see if our ARS can help. If not, the e-mail will be sent a live team of technicians who are standing by. I guess they're trying the automatic stuff as a trial run, looks like it needs a little work. |
