Any web hosting companies in here file for any of the above?. Is it necessary to apply for a trademark, Inc or LLC. ?

I mean I will just be running a web site, not a physical business. I think I will even file this under my personal account.

Is this alright? .. How many file their web site under personal or business ?

Any feedback on opening a web hosting company would be great. If someone can post a step by step of things to do before opening a web hosting site would be even greater.

Thanks.

Necessary, no. A good idea, sure!

A trademark is different from an LLC or INC. The former is to protect a name or logo. The latter is a type of business.

In both cases there are costs and issue. You need to talk to an attorney to be sure.

We're incorporated..

It's shouldn't cost you more then $1,000 (US) to be incorporated although you also may have accountant fees.

Inc's and LLC's also have more requirements as far as record keeping and periodic reporting/filing to the states.
