Hi,

As some of you know, I am currently developping my own Control Panel. In fact, it is more than 1 set of admin tools and 1 set of Clients tools... it allow a web hosting company to use a web server farm and administer them from a central server, automatically monitor them, automagically add clients and create theyr DNS entries, etc.

It will give the clients many power, but always in a secure and controled way to avoid abuse.

Now... I have had a lot of people e-mailing me about this project and how they would like to have it / beta test it once it is ready. The main problem is that it is going to take a little while since I am alone on this and that I must do some misc design job in the mean time to survive :)

If you are someone that knows a LOT and are TALENTED with linux and the web hosting services (apache, proftp, sendmail, bind, ssh, mysql mainly) and would like to work on an interesting project, I want to hear from you! The same applies if you know PHP4 WELL and know how to use a MySQL database or if you know C well.

I am currently working on the frontend interface and once this is done I plan to tweak the OS to my needs (most likely RH 6.2 or 7), then code the server backend. I can do it all, but it could also be done faster with some help :)

Please note that there is no way that I can pay you for that job, but once it is done, you will have ownership on the project as well as me, so if you are a hosting company, you will have a powerfull tool plus experience with it. If not, you can even consider offering to install it for other companies, offer tech support or anything with it.

I insist on the fact that anyone interested must be honest, talented and be able to work well in team. I don't intend to be ripped off or to rip off anyone for those who obviously are going to say that. :)

I simply believe that from the feedback I received, some help would only make this project done faster and be helpfull to many people asap.

Feel free to reply to this message or e-mail me if you have any questions!
