Hey all,
I am looking for a few people that are interested in making a web-host directory something like http://www.hostindex.com/
I already have the code for it and its ready & working but not ready to be released...
I need people for the following jobs
php/mysql work (very minimal)
graphic/design work
moderators to visit the site regularly and well.......moderate
Now i do not need 'help' i am looking for partners that can consider this site theirs as well, we can host it on your server if you want or mine (it makes no difference)
Quick Overview
I want this to be free, no pay per spots bull. (although the code allows the implication of this for further down the line)
I been here for awhile and one of the main reoccurring topics is 'how to get customers' any partners involved will also be required to advertise for this site as much as possible (to hosting consumers, not web-hosts)
The web-hosts will find the site themselves, most likely from here, but like i said i want the site to be free and have lots of traffic so we can give every host out there a fair share, which is exactly why i don't want to have to pay for higher spots, this code also has link rotation so don't be thinking that if you submit your site first its either @ the top or the bottom, everyone's site will be @ the top sometimes.
Phew, i hope i got everything in there and i really hope your interested, i know there are lots of site out there like this but (most) of them are doing to get money intheir pocket, and are NOT owned by actual web-hosts like me that want to help each other out!
