Hello,

I know this is a quite common question...Sorry..

Our budget for this month is up to $800 this month.

We would be very happy if anyone can give us a tip of a great place(s)!

We have thought of advertise on HotScripts.. Does anyone have any experience from them?

We are quite tired of all small $100 sites..

Best regards,
Henrik

I had really good luck with hostaz.com about a year ago. I dropped $300 a month for 2 months and I at least trippled my investment. I don't know how much they charge now or how good the results might be, but it might be something to check out.

Pay Per click ... Overture, Google Adwords, whatever. That way you're getting REALLY relevant traffic from search engines.

Put $800 into some solid Search Engine Optimizations. :)

Thank you!

We have tried Google Adwords, but we haven't got much success... We got about 7 clicks per day... Maybe it's a great idea to hire someone to help us with optimal words.

Would you like to share what words you have and how much you spend per click?

We offer booth Linux and Windows hosting, but Linux is the most important part.

Although she may have done some good work for you, personally, I couldn't convince myself to pay for SEO from someone with a PR 0.

I wonder if she got banned for illegal tactics, as have many inexeperienced SEO companies.

Or maybe this is just a new site?

It is a new site and she spends more time working for clients then working her own site. She works off referral business.

There are many people (my own business included) who have crappy websites... but don't need to make them better because business is going just fine.

I will be contacting the owner of that business to chat (she lives by me!) and see what she says. I'll ask for references, and will weight those a LOT higher then her website.

Does anyone else have a referral for SEO contractors?

I would hire a telemkter to call local business, or place ads in pulications of what ever you niche market is(if you are offering hosting to auto dealer sites, then hit the publications they read.)
BUT
spending your money on PPC,google adwords is just a waste(if you going to do that just give me the money and I will click around some on a link for you so you think your gettin' some action :) )
Also stay away for the "we can get you a top ten listing..."(maybe for some othewr sites but when you tell them you are a web host, the honest ones will tell you real quick we cannot get you a top ten listing)

Spend it wisely and you can double even triple your investment.

internetcomealive optimized an old website of mine for google and I got 400% more customers per month.

Well the problem with SEO is that you could fork over $800 and end up with absolutely nothing. Web hosting is a very competitive term in the search engines. There are a lot of competitors even for niche words.

For those who used internetcomalieve, can you tell us what you used them for and why you think they did a good job?

pweb

MrZippy -

Used them for 3 sites: Hosting, Prospect Research Database and Wireless products site.
Why I think they did a great job - our TARGETTED traffic has increased which in turn brings more sales than just useless, un-targetted traffic we used to get, their contact is for 1 year - in other words they work with your for 1 year continuessly (spelling) monitoring sites and making various changes since search engines (algorithm) changes a lot. And lastly - the owner of Internetcomealive works for a fortune 500 company doing SEO for big name companies pretty much 24x7.

Your pagerank is 0, you need to work on getting links to increase it. Good SEO will include this as part of their services.

Speaking of Internetcomealive (www.internetcomealive.com), I see that they started a new program - seo rapid inclusion, just signed up, will let you know how it goes :)

Really, then you signed up at your own company... What I can see you are running both internetcomealive.com and livingdot.com. Found your advert for livingdot.com when I searched on your username..

How can you explain this?

It's a little bit strange for me...

Henrik, I sold my hosting company over 1 year ago and am definately not running Internetcomealive, I wish I was though :D

Ok...sorry :)

But your latest hosting advert post was 07-11-2003...

I hope you understand it's a little bit confusing..

I would feel uneasy to have a company that offers web hosting do seo for my webhosting co. Just seems like a conflict of interest.

Might be good for non hosting related sites though...

Any one have a good company that does not offer hosting...

my 2 cents

My feedback - after dealing with them again is, they deliver on their promises. I find their new offer very valuable, I wish they offered it BEFORE I paid a lot more for the full blown seo package :cartman: The differences I see - with their $29 offer they tell you what to do and I do it myself while with full package thing they do everything for you. And yes I already see my site showing up in different search engines I wasn't listed before.

COOLASU, good point, but I don't think it matters, there are alot of companies providing different services for web hosting companies while hosting sites themselves, besides it looks like they're a local host? Anyhow, I'm outta here for 2 weeks, vacation ;)
