I'm looking to upgrade my Linux server, which I currently host with Rackspace. Rackspace are a bit expensive, and I don't need their support, which I think is the main source of their extra cost. So I'm thinking about switching.

Datapipe look like the kind of service we need--quite configurable, one-off hardware costs rather than extra monthly costs for upgrades, no setup fee... But I haven't heard much about them--anyone got good or bad experiences with them you could share?

Any other suggestions for quality dedicated server providers supporting Linux?

I can only speak about the past where I had servers with him ~1 year ago.. Their support was great - at least if you call them they are there and will help you - will forward you direct to their techs etc. or whatever you need. The speed was not bad (~3 MB/s to aol.com) and expect i think one time I never had a routing problem with them. If you need high bandwidth from them give them an call and they will offer some realy nice prices ($1,5 ..). But as i said .. that was some time ago - perhaps they are even better now ;o)
